Camryn Shoener
Camryn Shoener was born in Orlando, FL and then moved to Charlotte, NC. She started her dance training in Florida at a young age beginning with ballet instruction by Doug Bailey, and additionally trained in gymnastics. In middle school she continued her dance education at her K-12 charter school in electives! As she continued to fall in love with dance, Camryn became a part of the Inspire Performing Arts Company. Camryn is an advanced student, by maintaining the honor roll and taking dual enrollment classes at CPCC. She was also a member of Student Government and The National Honors Society. Camryn graduated high school a year early and was only two credit hours away from an associate's degree. She is attending the University of North Carolina Charlotte to obtain a degree in Dance Education! Camryn prioritizes her faith and is heavily involved with her church, The Good Shepherd, where she participated in service projects such as Feeding Children Everywhere and Serve Charlotte. Over the years, she continued to explore and grow in her dance training and was thrilled to student teach alongside her mentors. During this time she was able to understand the great purpose of dance in her life. Dance has taught her to be diligent, dedicated, and persevere through difficult times. All of these things have helped her realize her passion for teaching our youth. Being in this leadership and serving role brings Camryn great joy and she takes pride watching others complete their goals and become the best version of themselves. Camryn strives to make a positive impact on people's lives.
